Guidelines

Themes:

• We welcome submissions in the following themes: Beauty & Fashion, Landscape & Architecture, Still-life & Arts. For inspiration, you can find examples on our website.

Exclusivity:

• Preferred but not required. You're free to submit your work to other publications simultaneously.

General:

• Ensure that your images are meticulously retouched and edited to meet our quality standards.

• Include credits for all team members, providing their Instagram handles or email addresses.

• While wardrobe credits are recommended, they are not mandatory.

• Carefully review all details and credits before submitting your work to avoid any errors.

• Nudity is allowed, but it must be portrayed tastefully and respectfully.

• We highly recommend including a short paragraph introducing the work's concept, the team, the production process, or behind-the-scenes insights.

• Connect with us on Instagram @lamusemag.

• When re-sharing your published images, please tag us on IG @lamusemag and use the hashtag #lamusemag.

Fees:

• Please select your preferred fee option when submitting your work.

• Changes or corrections to credits will incur a fee of $20.

• Cancellations are subject to a fee of $90.

• Additional fees can be paid via PayPal.

Rejection Reasons:

• Submissions may be rejected for reasons such as poor low-light work, noisy images, or out-of-focus shots.

• Avoid using automated software for face retouching, which can result in unnatural-looking edits.

• Ensure that outfits in your work are well-coordinated and do not appear mismatched.

• Submitted work should align with the overall flow and quality of the magazine issue.

• High-quality work is essential for publication.

• Avoid repeating poses or expressions in your submissions.

• Do not include watermarks on your images.

• Make sure to provide a sufficient number of images to create a cohesive story.

Terms & Conditions

Ownership:

• By submitting your work, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the materials, including all related intellectual property interests, such as trademarks and copyrights.

Publication Consent:

• All team members and participants agree to have their works published by La Muse Magazine.

• Models must obtain the photographer's consent for the publication of submitted photos.

Production Costs:

• La Muse does not cover any production costs associated with the submitted works.

Acceptance Rights:

• La Muse reserves the right to accept or deny any submission.

• We may resize or crop your submitted images for publication.

• Not all approved photos may be published; La Muse reserves the right to select the images for publication.

Usage Rights:

• Once an image is accepted for publication, it grants us the right to use it in our publications, websites, social media platforms, marketing materials, and any other mediums related to La Muse.

Indemnification:

• You agree to defend and indemnify La Muse Magazine against all liabilities, damages, costs, debts, claims, and expenses resulting from any third-party claims related to the materials published, including any infringement of third-party proprietary or intellectual property rights due to a breach of these terms.
